Touchscreen Selection and Facial Authentication
Operators select the required needle or scissor model on the touchscreen. A face must be enrolled before operation. Administrators can assign each user permission to access specific needle models. The facial-recognition camera can be manually tilted to accommodate different user heights.
Separate Needle and Scissor Storage
The cabinet has dedicated storage areas for needles and scissors. Administrators configure the stored models, load the items and enter their quantities into the system. The supplier-specified configuration provides 12 needle channels and 6 scissor channels; confirm the required storage configuration before ordering.
Needle Issue and Exchange
- Initial issue: an administrator opens the needle compartment, removes the required needle and records the employee’s initial issue information.
- Return inspection: the operator places the used needle, or aligns all broken fragments, in the needle return opening. A camera above the return area displays the items on the touchscreen. The system checks the returned length.
- Incomplete fragments or failed recognition: the administrator must resolve the exception before the exchange proceeds.
- Replacement collection: the operator collects the replacement needle from the dispensing area. A cushioning pad in this area helps soften its impact.
For the convenient-exchange workflow described in the operating instructions, the operator selects the exchange function, completes facial authentication, places the returned needle, selects the model and completes the exchange. Available model choices and any style or operation selections depend on the administrator’s configuration.
Scissor Exchange
Scissor models can be configured in the system. The exchange follows a one-used-scissor-for-one-new-scissor rule. Administrators manage stock entry and handle exceptions.
Return Records and Administrator Reports
The backend records needle and scissor returns and issues against authorized users. Administrators can export tables to review how many items each user has received and returned. Software functions include personnel and department management, model and channel configuration, stock records, replenishment records, issue and return reports, and configurable stock reminders.
Exception Handling
Recognition failures, incomplete broken-needle returns and dispensing irregularities require administrator intervention. Administrators enter replenishment quantities when loading the cabinet. This system supports tool accountability; it does not replace a garment inspection or metal-detection process.

- Voice prompts to assist operation.
- Manually adjustable facial-recognition camera.
